Skydive Sussex is at Sussex Airport in northwest New Jersey, about 35 minutes from Milford, PA and under an hour from the Stroudsburgs.
Pennsylvania jumpers come to us for one big reason: altitude. We take every tandem skydive to 14,500ft, the highest jump altitude in the Northeast. That means close to a full minute of freefall before your parachute opens.
Your instructor will be a USPA-rated tandem instructor with thousands of jumps. First-timers are our specialty. You'll get a full briefing on the ground, and your instructor handles the technical side in the air, so all you have to do is enjoy the view.
Our Cessna Grand Caravan carries up to 18 jumpers, so you can book with friends, family or coworkers and all ride up on the same plane.
Views of three states from one jump
From 14,500ft you can see the Kittatinny Ridge, High Point Monument, the Delaware Water Gap and the wooded hills of the Poconos. On a clear day, the New York City skyline is on the horizon too.
Make a day of it. After your jump, you can hike the Monument Trail at High Point State Park, visit Space Farms Zoo & Museum, or stop at Windy Brow Farms before heading home to PA.
